Today, something extremely valuable for any business trying to grow.
I’ll be breaking down and IMPROVING a local PTs website.
By the end, you’ll know exactly the mistakes he’s made that will be losing him a lot of sales.
PLUS, how to fix those mistakes to seemingly double or even triple your website conversions in just a week.
Let’s get into it:

Front page, what do you notice?
I mean, there’s a lot going on here. So, let me break it down into bite size steps.
CORE UNDERSTANDING #1:
On websites, never use a picture in the background. It’s been proven to significantly lower sales.
Why? Because it makes the writing extremely hard to read.
In other words, it’s confusing to the reader, and if you’ve read any of my other breakdowns, this is the #1 sales killer!
CORE UNDERSTANDING #2:
Secondly… Never say it… SHOW IT.
“I’m a specialist trainer “ means nothing to the reader.
If I scroll a couple of pages down.

BOOM!
Now, we’re talking.
But let me ask you a question? Why is it hidden?
If you’re good at what you do, put that proof on the front page. Don’t make people dig for it.
You’d be SHOCKED at how much of a difference this makes.
And I’ll explain why… It’s because if people see that front page, and a big promise, if they don't believe it they will click off.
They won’t even bother scrolling down. Not everyone of course, but enough to pull down your sales significantly.
Now…
CORE UNDERSTANDING #3:
NEVER… market to everyone!
You can’t help everyone from beginners to athletes, and you can’t help everyone get stronger OR lose weight.
There’s so many different markets here.
Womens weight loss… Mens weight loss… pro athletes… bodybuilders… beginner athletes… Dads wanting to get stronger… Runners… sprinters… powerlifters…
Okay, I think you get the idea.
PICK ONE!
Most people are afraid to pick a market, because they think it will lose them sales. And what does this type thinking do? Lose them sales!
Here’s a good analogy…
If you’re at a train station with 50 people in a crowd, and you shout…
“SIMON!”
Who’s attention will you catch? Simons of course!
Now, let’s say you shout “EVERYONE!”
What will happen? Some people will look. Some will ignore it. And those who looked will eventually turn away.
Point in case…
Simon here should choose the client he likes working with the most, and work exclusively with them.
THIS WILL EXPLODE HIS SALES!
As you grow, and become more established you can expand your market. However, even then, you should specialise.
CORE UNDERSTANDING #4:
ALWAYS have a USP!
Simon has no Unique Selling Proposition!
Man… Simon could make soooo many more sales with a simple USP.
Something that makes viewers place him in a 1 of 1 category next to his competitors.
At the moment, every PT promises you to get fitter, stronger and lose weight. Meaning, he’s like every other PT (which he isn’t btw, EVERYONE has something unique about them or their business).
This means he's indifferent in the prospects' eyes. And this is GUARANTEED to lose Simon a tonne of sales.
Here’s something new now…
Something I’m shocked by, because Simon has done it SOOO well, but the design and placement is just losing him a tonne of sales for sure.

Look at that!
HE’S GOT A LEAD MAGNET FOR FAT LOSS!
15 PAGES!!!
And he’s hidden it!!!!
Simon, if you ever read this, please make that writing bigger firstly.
This sh*t is extremely valuable to any reader wanting to lose weight, and you’ve buried it at the bottom of the page, in weird font writing, with nothing to focus on.

And then, the clients. Again, buried at the bottom of the page. GREAT, testimonial by the way, yet still nothing pops out.
Here’s one I did for a recent client:

Notice the difference in structure?
See, people tend to skim.
And having things pop out is extremely important. Try it, I guarantee it will make a HUGE difference in sales.
If you can include a picture, even better. ANNNDDD…
If they have lost weight.
INCLUDE THE BEFORE AND AFTER!
SHOW THEM!
I can’t express this enough. The number of sales lost here for such an easy mistake is crazy!
Look, I don’t want to dig in anymore here.
Simon is a great coach. I can see from his testimonials and accreditations that he is very established.
But, do you see how simple mistakes on a website can make such an impact on sales.
No, of course, you probably can’t see them.
But, can you imagine the difference it would make…
If Simon targeted only weight loss for men…
Gave them a free guide on weight loss that blew the prospects mind…
Wrote sales copy that spoke to the overweight man's heart and mind…
AND showed clear proof that he has helped others lose weight with before and after pictures…
ANDDD put his credibility further up…
ANDDDDD *Breather... He used fonts and designs that were simple and easy to read.
CAN YOU IMAGINE THE DIFFERENCE IN SALES!
